When it comes to moving, no one’s as experienced as this Omaha area native. She’s done it more than 20 times!
Little did Angela May know each relocation was really just “on the job training” for her future career…
As the daughter of an Omaha area police chief and as the wife of a soldier, she’s lived coast to coast and in Europe, finally landing back in “Husker” Country in 2006 – and is ‘home’ to stay! “Sure, moving has been a challenge at times,” Angela admits, “but the advantages were always worth it in the end. I’ve been blessed with unforgettable experiences, lifelong friends, and the journey of self discovery associated with each relocation; all of which eventually lead me to my dream job in Real Estate. I now take great pleasure in helping people enjoy the exciting process of moving.”
Known for Her Caring Side
That upbeat, growth-oriented attitude is typical of this dynamic individual. Wherever Angela has lived, she’s been committed to giving back to the community as a volunteer. Those who know her well will vouch that, besides her generosity of spirit, Angela is a deeply caring person. This quality has many expressions, of course, but it’s most apparent in her dealings with other families. She’s a devoted mother of two and she knows all about the ups and downs parents and children go through when they leave their neighborhood, community, or move from one state to another. She’s here to help make the transition a positive experience – Angela has been there and she’s done that!
A Family of Fans
There’s no question that, in the personal arena, Angela’s family is Priority No. 1. She enjoys nothing more than time spent with her husband of 27+ years, and their two sons who are both in college. They love Omaha and frequently head for favorite city destinations such as the Old Market, Dundee, and the annual College World Series. Inspired by her husband’s longtime passion in particular, they’re also huge Nebraska Cornhusker fans. “At least half of my husband’s wardrobe is red,” Angela reports. And so the family’s oldest yellow Labrador, known for his surprising ability to smile, is fittingly named “Husker”, while his younger side-kick has a more nostalgic name of “Herbie” (the Huskers original mascot) . A consummate people person, Angela also delights in moments with extended-family members and her large group of friends.
A Deep Understanding
Angela is just as people-oriented in her career as one of the area’s outstanding real estate professionals. Again, she’s thoroughly familiar with all the ins and outs of moving. Her own life experience has made her an expert in that regard. In the professional realm, she’s intensely focused on helping families and individuals experience smooth, low-stress “transitions,” whether they’re selling or buying. “I really do understand the hopes and dreams as well as the fears, stresses, and other factors involved in moving,” Angela says. “My aim is to make the experience as positive as possible.”
Unwavering Focus
Angela begins by sitting down with her clients and helping them evaluate all aspects of their move. With precisely identified outcomes in mind, she formulates a customized plan of action. Then she follows through step by step, adjusting the process as necessary and providing frequent updates to her clients. Sellers benefit from her knowledge of area real estate trends as well as her sophisticated pricing and marketing strategies. And everyone she serves benefits from Angela and her teams deeply caring approach to their move.
